Welcome to Alpes Valet.

We provide bespoke Valeting and Car Detailing in and around the Alpine town of Morzine in the French Alps.

What is car valeting to us?

For us, car valeting is the process of cleaning, polishing and waxing vehicle inside and out in order to achieve an as-new look, as close to the original showroom finish as possible.  It’s more than a quick clean and wipe over.

Our valeting includes cleaning the wheels & shuts, washing, restoring paintwork, removing minor scratches then waxing and polishing the bodywork.  We then dress exterior plastics and tyres, polishing brightwork and polishing the glass. We finally apply either the finishing sealant Autoglym Gloss Protection which retains the finish for 3-6 months, or Ceramic Nanotechnology Protection which works for 1-2 years (50-150 washes depending on weather and driving conditions).

We use either clay bars or solvents to remove unwanted contaminants from the paint such as tar spots and tree sap, which all cause the paint to feel rough and dull the appearance of the paint.

The interior is vacuumed in all areas including, dash, centre console, seats, carpets, luggage areas and vents before shampooing any soiled areas such as upholstery, trim, carpets and headlinings.  Leather upholstery is cleaned and treated, and all vinyl and rubber areas including dash, door panels and mats are cleaned and polished.

All this brings a vehicle back to as close the original showroom finish as possible.  As our clients usually say: Wow! It’s almost like new!
